Dhoni's early life (MS Dhoni Birthday)



 MS Dhoni was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand.  His ancestral village Lavli is in Lamgra block of Almora district in Uttarakhand.  Dhoni's parents moved to Ranchi from Uttarakhand in connection with the job, where his father, Paan Singh, worked as a junior management at MECON.


 Dhoni has a sister and a brother.  Brother's name is Narendra Singh Dhoni and sister's name is Jayanthi Gupta.  Dhoni considers the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar as his idol since childhood.


 Dhoni has studied at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi.  Dhoni initially excelled in badminton and football during school and was selected in these sports at district and club level.  Dhoni was the goalkeeper of his football team at school and was sent by his football coach to play cricket for a local cricket club.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni started his professional cricket career in 1998 with Bihar Under-19 team.  In 1999-2000, MS Dhoni started his career by playing in Bihar Ranji team.


 National team selection Samiti noticed the performance of the Deodhar Trophy, the Duleep Trophy and the India Tour in India "A".


 In a team selection committee meeting held in 2004, Sourav Ganguly named Mahendra Singh Dhoni for wicketkeeper.  Mahendra Singh Dhoni played his first match in Bangladesh on 23 December and during this match he was selected as the wicket keeper.


 During the first match played in Bangladesh, Dhoni was run out for zero runs.  Dhoni, who was completely flopped in the debut match, could not score anything special in the next four innings.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni played 90 Tests in his career, in which he scored 4876 runs.  His biggest innings in Test came against Australia inside Chennai.  Dhoni had scored 224 runs in this innings.


 In the One-Day International, Dhoni scored 8620 runs in 265 matches.  And Dhoni played his career best ODI against Sri Lanka in 2005 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.  In this innings, Dhoni had scored 183 runs.  Dhoni took 246 catches and 85 stumpings while keeping wickets in One Day.


 M / s.  Adam Gilchrist's record as the wicket-keeper by scoring 183 runs in one-day broke the record for most runs.


 Dhoni's name is also the record of most hunting behind the wicket by an Indian wicket-keeper.


 Under Dhoni's captaincy, India reached its highest score of 726.  Dhoni is the only captain who hit a century while batting at seventh position in ODIs.

 Dhoni is India's first wicket-keeper who crossed the 4000-run mark in Tests.  Dhoni has captained the most matches by combining all three formats of international cricket.


 Under Dhoni's captaincy, India has won 110 out of 199 ODIs, and have won 71 out of 72 T-20 matches.  And in the Test, the Indian team won 27 out of 60.



 Dhoni has won the most finals of the tournament as a captain.  Dhoni currently has 43 rankings in T20 and 14 in ODIs.

 MS Dhoni is considered the best player of limited overs, but he did not earn much name in Test cricket.  Dhoni played 90 Tests for India, scoring 4876 runs at an average of 38.09.  During this, Dhoni's bat yielded 6 centuries and 33 half-centuries.  Not only this, in the year 2014, Dhoni said goodbye to Test cricket.
